Amadeepam Parivartan Centre Inauguration

Atmadeepam Society Nagpur, in collaboration with EnAble India, launched Parivartan Centre on 20th July 2022, to promote digital literacy for persons with vision impairment.

Persons with vision impairment or blindness, who are digitally literate, have a better chance for an enhanced quality of life. EnAble India has kickstarted the #SeeAMillion campaign – a sectoral collaboration to transform persons with vision impairment into active citizens and nation builders through Digital Empowerment.

Focusing on basic computer and phone usage, the long-term vision of the Digital Literacy Labs or Parivartan Centres is to empower persons with vision impairment to grow across the continuum of Digital Literacy to Digital Fluency and finally to Digital Mastery.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Moses Chowdari Gorrepati Executive Director of EnAble India said, “Computers and digital literacy are eyes for visually impaired.

arrow, green, glossy-145761.jpgAtmadeepam Society, in collaboration with Persistent Foundation Pune, commenced Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology Course (MSCIT) for persons with vision impairment for 3 months period 

There are total of 30  VI/Blind candidates, We started two batches of 15 candidates each

On 13th March 2023, Atmadeepam Society hosted a certificate distribution

program for the VI/Blind candidates who completed the Computer Fundamentals and Fundamentals of Internet, The courses were conducted by Parivartan Center at Atmadeepam Society Nagpur.

The program was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr. Harsha Jharia, Chief Administrative

Officer, LAD College, Nagpur, and Mr. Chaitanya Deshpande, CSR Head, D. B. Jain Group. Mrs. Hema Kubde

Secretary, Atmadeepam Society Nagpur, and Mr. Yogeshwar Chawwaldhal, Treasurer, Atmadeepam Society

Nagpur also graced the occasion.

, President Mrs. Jidnyasa Chawaldhal gave the introductory speech and the event was hosted by Aarti Chavan.

During the ceremony, certificates were distributed to 18  VI/Blind candidates  who successfully completed the three-month

Computer Fundamentals course, and 14  VI/Blind candidates who completed the one-month Fundamentals of Internet course.

We are proud to announce that two of our VI/Blind candidates who completed the courses have secured employment.

This achievement is a testament to the effectiveness of the courses in providing practical skills that are valuable in the job market.

 

Atmadeepam Society hosted a certificate distribution program
Formal Inauguration of Foundation Course in Computers and Employability for person with vision impairment.

On 25th March 2023, Atmadeepam Society, hosted a Formal Inauguration of Foundation Course in Computers and Employability for person with vision impairment.

This course at Privartan Center of Atmadeepam Society has been already started on 28 Feb 2023, for 17 VI/Blind candidates for 7 months (2023) period.

 

 

On 15th April 2023, Atmadeepam Society Nagpur hosted a Certificate Distribution Program of the Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology Course (MSCIT) Completion Certificates.

 This Course was sponsored by Persistent Foundation Pune for 30th visually impaired candidates for 3 months.
